Bald Eagle Admitted After Possible Vehicle Collision

This morning, we admitted a Bald Eagle that was found lying in the middle of the road. By the time we arrived, it had moved itself into a nearby ditch but was easily caught after a final, unsuccessful attempt to fly away. Based on its injuries, we suspect it was struck by a vehicle. The eagle is now in our care and receiving treatment. We will provide further updates as we assess its condition and begin its recovery process. Thank you for your continued support.
