Admissions Update: A Busy Morning at Pine View
In a single morning, our team admitted two juvenile Red-tailed Hawks, two Screech Owls, and a Kestrel, all transferred from other facilities due to urgent need.
Unfortunately, the Kestrel did not survive its injuries, despite best efforts. One of the Red-tailed Hawks remains in critical condition, suffering from severe emaciation. The second hawk is more stable and responding well to care.
Meanwhile, the two Screech Owls have made enough progress to transition into their new outdoor enclosure, where they will continue building strength and practicing key behaviors as part of their rehabilitation.
These admissions are a powerful reminder of how quickly our patient load can grow and how critical your support is in making this work possible. Thank you for continuing to stand with Pine View as we provide second chances for wildlife in need.
