Bared Owl

This Bared Owl was admitted to Pine View for winter weather fatigue. It needs a little support and a medical evaluation after the extreme weather.  Barred Owls are a medium sized owl that live in WI year-round, typically residing near cedar swamps and quieter areas to avoid activity of people and territory of larger owls, like the Great Horned. You can identify a Barred Owl by their circular facial discs, and their distinct communicative hoot: (that sounds like) WHO COOKS FOR YOU?!
